Max's 1st T-ball game

Max was beyond thrilled about his first t-ball game yesterday. The opening ceremonies were at 9 in the morning and his game was at 10. We were a little bummed that their uniform shirts weren't here in time and we got his hat after the game...hopefully they'll be here before his next game on Tuesday. He had a big cheering section with Uncle Matt, Aunt Holly, Matthew, Ambria, Aunt Liz, Aunt Pam, Baba, Grandpop, Gram, Aunt Brooke, Allie, Noah, and Lucas and of course Emma and I! Damian is one of the coaches for his team!

All of the boys and the one little girl on his team did a fantastic job! They listened, were paying attention, hit the ball so well, and ran their little hearts out! I just loved watching them having so much fun!
I love the above left picture of Damian giving Max a "five" after he hit his first ball and ran to first base! He looks like such a big boy in these pics! I might have a tear in my eye right now!

Seriously, I loved watching him run after the ball and run the bases! I definitely love watching my little guy play baseball so much more than soccer!! Soccer was just a bit too unorganized at the Y and a little chaotic and boring! Looks like this will be his sport!!!

I love that his buddies Brody and Jacob are on his team. They were so cute giving each other pep talks and high fives! He also knew a few other kids that go to his school...they were on the team he played against.

They will be on the Zephyrhills Royals team and are excited to get their uniform shirts!

Of course we went to celebrate with lunch at Red Robin...Yumm! See that picture of Max on the right. He's eating an onion ring! That's right my son, the pickiest eater ever loves onion rings and ate 2 big ones, onion and all!

After lunch we did a little shopping at Wiregrass and then headed home. My mom gave me some pointers on my sewing machine. I still want to take a class but I think I can at least figure out the basics now. Then, we had a nice, relaxing night at home! The kids got to play their little hearts out and we had family movie night watching Scooby Doo 2!

Today was church--how is it already the first Sunday of Lent?!!--, lunch at a yummy local barbeque place with my in-laws, grocery shopping for me,(naps for everyone else) and some blog and laundry catch up. I love the weekends...just wish they lasted longer!

I am looking forward to this week...we are celebrating Dr. Seuss birthday with our first graders all week long! I have some fun activities, crafts, and snacks planned!!

Benjamin's 1st Birthday

Last Sunday we celebrated Benjamin's first birthday!! It was a fun day with family and friends!

Glazer Children's Museum

Last Saturday we took the kids to the Glazer Children's Museum in Tampa. It was a fun way to spend the day. The kids loved checking everything out and Damian and I loved seeing everything through their eyes!

I'm pretty sure D had just as much fun as Max in some of the exhibits!

Max LOVED this area where the air sent the balls through the tubes and up in the air! He kept doing it over and over!

Emma loved the Publix and did a little grocery shopping and really enjoyed the vet area...so sweet!

After the museum the kids loved running around outside!

We can't wait to go back!

weekend sneak peek

This long weekend has been full of fun, family, and friends! I think I'm in a bit of denial that I have to go back to school tomorrow. I'm pretty sure Damian and the kids feel the same way.

Here's a little sneak peak into our weekend!

Saturday morning we woke up and I cooked breakfast for everyone! (Brooke don't collapse--I DO know how to cook, I just choose to let Damian do all the cooking!!) There's nothing like the smell of bacon to get everyone moving!! We got ready and headed to the Glazer Children's Museum in Tampa with the kids. They had a great time. Max has told me several times today that he really liked that museum!

Saturday night was time for girls night out!! I went to dinner and a movie with Jessi, Alyse, and Erica. We saw The Vow. We had lots of laughs at dinner and of course enjoyed Channing Tatum and Rachel McAdams in the movie!! After the movie we met Kim and Shannon for some drinks. It was so much fun to chat and have some girl talk. I'm hoping to get together with these girls again soon.

Today we went to mass this morning and then headed to Benjamin's 1st birthday party. It amazes me to think it's been a year since Benjamin was born with a congenital diaphragmatic hernia, had a very rough first few weeks, and underwent surgery at Shands in Gainesville. Now he is this happy, chunky little guy with big brown eyes and a smile that just warms your heart!! Truly he is a miracle baby and such a blessing!

My sister had a baby shower today, so Sean and the kids came with my mom to the party and I was so happy to be surrounded by ALL my nieces and nephews!! I love them to pieces!! She even surprised me by sending Lucas so I could get some baby holding and loving!!

This is one of my favorite pics of the day! Noah loves to give his Aunt Melissa some kisses...and I'll take 'em!

The birthday boy and his mommy and daddy! We love them all!

Lots more fun to come!

Chuck E. Cheese

Last Saturday, we went to Chuck E. Cheese with our friends the Switzers to celebrate Connor's 2nd birthday. It was a madhouse and will probably be our last visit there...at least to the Tampa location on a Saturday night. :) But, the kids had so much fun!!

We always have so much fun with the boys!!

Four Year Old Friday

In January we signed Max up for t-ball. To say he is excited is an understatement!! The best part is he will be playing with his best buddies from school Brody and Jacob. All the dads are coaching, so that will be extra fun! A few weeks ago we had "tryouts". Basically they had to see what the kids knew about baseball and placed them on teams. The first night was THE coldest night we've had in Florida this winter. Which really isn't that cold but I could have done without the wind. It was so neat to see the boys SO excited. They have had practice two nights a week, which kind of stinks because they are the same nights Emma has ballet and Religious Ed. so I haven't seen any of the practices. Since they change days, I'm hoping to make it to next Thursday's practice. The first game of the season is next Saturday. Our family and friends are excited to see our little athlete in action!

Brody, Max, Connor, and Emma hanging out at the field.

Cute kiddos!!

Daddy and Max

They were asking him "Where's second base?" Love that he's pointing with his glove!

Hitting the ball!

Max's other love is still Legos! He could play with them all day long! He sleeps with his legos and is always building something. He loves the minifigures and is constantly taking them apart and putting them back together. The pieces are so tiny but he manages them all and acts out all kinds of scenes with those lego guys. He has them in his Playmobil knight castle right now. His favorite are the ninjas.

Love that concentration!!

He loves those legos!

Who is this big kid??!!

Emma and I are off school today for Rodeo Day and I kept Max home too! Yeehaw! I am so excited to have a three day weekend and be with my kiddos all day! I think we are going to stay in our jammies all morning, then have lunch with Damian at the golf course and maybe take a little trip to Lakeland to Target and Hobby Lobby. We have a pretty relaxing weekend planned and Damian doesn't have to work...Yay!! We are celebrating sweet Benjamin's 1st birthday on Sunday!! We can't wait!

I'm hoping the rain stays away so we can spend some time tomorrow outside! I also have a girl's night out tomorrow going to dinner and a movie with a few friends! I'm excited about some girl time!

Happy Friday!!

Happy Valentine's Day

I was looking through pics on my computer and found these of my little sweeties from 2008. I just love these two!! Seems like yesterday they were this small! They are still just as sweet as ever! They loved their goodies from Damian & I and of course had a blast at their class parties today! Damian and I celebrated on Sunday with dinner at one of our favs Yamato. Last night we had dinner and gave the kids their valentine treats.Emma had ballet and Max had t-ball practice tonight! It's been a busy week already. We are looking forward to having Friday off school for Rodeo Day!

oh my goodness, the cuteness!

Seven Year Old Saturday

When I realized it's been almost a month since I last posted any pictures, I figured I better put some on here so I don't get too far behind. It's seems January just flew on by for my family. I've taken hundreds of pics of the kids, birthday parties, and my newest nephew's baptism but have yet to share!

I thought we'd get back in the swing of things with pics of my beautiful seven year old! She really is such a joy to her daddy and I! She just got her report card last week and we couldn't be prouder of her all O's(outstandings) which is not an easy feat in her advanced/enrichment first grade class! She has been working so hard and is doing so well! She is still going to Daisy Scouts, ballet, and Religious Ed. She's keeping this Mom's taxi very busy! She absolutely loves all of her cousins and loves holding and loving on her newest baby Lucas! She loves to play with her barbies, play her guitar, ride her scooter and bike, and even plays ninja with her little brother. She loves to wear dangly earring, lip gloss, and have her nails painted. She is starting to care about what she wears and picking out her outfits...oh my! I don't think Damian and I are ready for that yet! She actually wanted to try on a shirt in a dressing room last week to make sure it fit! We just went a couple of weeks ago to get pedicures and that girl loves getting her nails and toes done! She is definitely my girly girl!! She still loves to read and is reading chapter books and asking all kinds of questions! Although our hour commute in the morning isn't always fun and the drive can be a pain, I enjoy that time I get to spend with Emma. It's so nice to talk with her, make up silly games, sing songs, and just be together. While I miss the days where she relied on me for everything, I am enjoying this independent seven year old so much!!

We're looking forward to a nice, relaxing weekend. We're heading out to Target and to run a few other errands, then to Chuck E. Cheese with some friends. I'm hoping to sneak in a date with Damian since tomorrow is the 13th anniversary of our first date & the 11th anniversary of our engagement! Where have the years gone?!!

Happy Saturday!!
